TCL 10 5G, TCL 10 Pro and TCL 10L announced – Check out the Features

TCL, known for being one of the top contenders in manufacturing TVs, has recently entered the smartphone market. The company had given its customers a glimpse of its upcoming smartphones and finally announced the release of the 10 series lineup. TCL 10 5G, TCL 10 Pro and TCL 10L, all have distinguishing features and here’s what you need to know:

TCL 10 camera

TCL 10 5G

TCL 10 5G is one of the first mid-ranged 5G smartphones running on the latest Android 10 operating system. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G processor and has a battery capacity of 4500mAh. When it comes to efficiency, a RAM of 6GB and an expandable storage capacity give it an edge over its counterparts. The smartphone has a 6.53-inch FHD+ display and a quad camera – a primary rear camera of 64MP, a front ultra-wide angular camera of 8MP, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP in-depth sensor. Priced around 400 pounds (INR 37,705 approximately), TCL 10 5G is a value for money smartphone.

TCL 10 Pro

TCL 10 Pro is more expensive than TCL 10 5G, mostly because it beats the smartphone in terms of display and camera quality. TCL 10 Pro features a 6.47inch AMOLED/OLED display ensuring an immersive user experience. The smartphone has a quad camera as well, but the pixel resolution differs considerably in TCL 10 Pro. A 64MP rear camera, a 24MP front camera, a 5MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor are a real catch for photography lovers. In terms of the processor, TCL 10 Pro is a bit disappointing as it is powered by the Snapdragon 675 chipset. It has the same battery capacity of 4500mAh, 6GB RAM and expandable storage capacity as TCL 10 5G and is priced around 449 pounds (INR 42,000 approximately).

TCL 10L

TCL 10L is the most affordable of the 10-series lineup but comes with starkly average specs. It has a slightly larger but standard 6.53 inched LCD LTPS display and is powered by the Snapdragon 665 chipset. It has the same 6GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity (which is expandable up to 256GB) as TCL 10 Pro and TCL 10 5G. The smartphone has a quad camera but has lower pixel counts. It has a 48MP primary camera, 16MP front camera, 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. A striking similarity in all the three smartphones is the presence of Super Bluetooth – a feature that enables you to connect to four other Bluetooth devices at the same time. TCL 10L is priced around 250 pounds (approximately 23,506 INR).

These flagships were scheduled to release mid-April but there is no conclusive word about its release yet, at least in India. TCL’s lineup is definitely impressive but how these smartphones fare in the market, especially against mainstream contenders will be ascertained upon its launch. Purchasing any one of these smartphones might put a strain on your wallet. Thus, it is wiser to spread the cost between 6 and 24 months with Tata Capital consumer durable loans.
